first_imgLast night, Widespread Panic brought their rockin’ grooves to the historic Peabody Opera House in St. Louis, MO, rocking the classic hall with a powerful performance. The band is in tip-top shape, and their newest member Duane Trucks has been a welcomed addition to the band’s potent sound. The show last night had a great number of highlights, including a pair of bust-outs in the first set. “Three Candles” hadn’t been seen in 146 shows, and the instrumental “St. Louis,” all too appropriate for the setting, hadn’t been played since July 4th of 2014.Meanwhile, the second set spoke to fans who were forced to take a bus in from Chicago (as there was an accident on the trains), with a potent “Waitin’ For The Bus > Jesus Just Left Chicago” segment. The ZZ Top cover felt right at home in the band’s southern blues-influenced sound, and the performance was a non-stop rocker from cover to cover.Check out the full setlist below, courtesy of PanicStream, and head to their site to stream it!Setlist: Widespread Panic at the Peabody Opera House, St. Louis, MO – 2/19/16Set 1: Papa Legba, Porch Song, Tail Dragger, Tickle the Truth, Worry, Bust It Big > Sleeping Man, Three Candles^, St Louis^^, Goin’ Out WestSet 2: Saint Ex, Jack > Chilly Water, The Last Straw, All Time Low > Jam > Drums > Jam > Angels On High, Waitin’ For The Bus > Jesus Just Left Chicago, Flicker, NorthEncore: Expiration Day, Aunt Avis, Sell Sell^ LTP 3/08/2014 Richmond (146 shows)^^ LTP 7/04/2014 Las Vegas (109 shows)last_img
